Event Overview

5K Fun Run: A Vegas-Themed Spectacle!
Date & Time: September 5, 2025, at 7 PM

Kick off the weekend with our exciting 5K Fun Run, where we’re bringing a touch of Las Vegas to Danville! This unique evening event features:

Light Show: Experience a dazzling display of lights that will enhance your running experience.

 Music: Enjoy energetic tunes to keep your spirits high as you run.

Elvis Impersonator: Get ready to be entertained by a live Elvis impersonator, adding a fun twist to the evening! The 5K is designed for all ages and fitness levels, making it the perfect way to celebrate community, health, and a little Vegas flair!

Boston Qualifying Marathon & Half Marathon:
Date & Time: September 6, 2025, at 7 AM

For the serious runners, the Three Sisters Half Marathon and full marathon will challenge you with a scenic 13.1 or 26.2-mile course. Key details include:

Boston Qualifying: Our marathon is an official Boston Qualifier, providing runners with a prestigious opportunity to qualify for the Boston Marathon. Assisted runners will begin 15 minutes prior to the standard race schedule. 

Course Cut-Off Time: Runners will need to complete the course by 1 PM, giving you six hours to enjoy the journey and achieve your goals. We are capping this event at 2,000 participants so don’t miss your chance to be a part of the first top notch event in Danville city. 

Race Day Logistics

Starting Location:
All races will commence at the newly built Caesar’s Casino, offering a picturesque backdrop of the Three Sisters smokestacks. One of our goals is to pack Main Street with as many spectators as we can to give the runners the push to get up Victory Hill! 

Aid Stations:
Multiple aid stations will be placed every 2 miles the marathon and half marathon routes, providing water, electrolyte drinks, and snacks to keep you fueled.

Community Celebration

The Three Sisters Marathon Weekend is more than just a race. Join us for a post-race celebration featuring local vendors, food, live entertainment, and activities for the whole family.

Volunteer Opportunities

We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to help make this event a success! Whether you’re assisting with registration, staffing aid stations, or cheering on runners, your support is vital.
