3 SISTERS MARATHON 5K SWEEPSTAKES — OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. SPONSOR

This sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is sponsored by Running for Freedom, a Virginia nonprofit corporation located at PO Box 1014 Danville, VA 24543

2. ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, and volunteers of the Sponsor, and members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, children) or households, are not eligible to enter. Void where prohibited by law.

3. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 AM Eastern Time on January 1, 2026 and ends at 5:00 PM Eastern Time on September 9, 2026 ("Sweepstakes Period"). The sponsor's clock is the official timekeeper.

4. HOW TO ENTER

There are two ways to enter. Each person may submit one (1) entry total, regardless of entry method.

Method 1 — Event Registration (No Purchase Required for Entry): Register for the Three Sisters Marathon 5K (Run and Walk), 5k Challenge events at https://threesistersmarathon.itsyourrace.com/register/. Completing registration automatically submits one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Note: while registration for the 5K involves a participation fee, that fee is for event participation only and is not required to enter this Sweepstakes. See Method 2 for free entry.

Method 2 — Free Mail-In Entry: To enter without registering for the event, hand-print your full name, mailing address, email address, and date of birth on a 3" x 5" card and mail it in a stamped envelope to: Running for Freedom, Attn: 3 Sisters 5k Sweepstakes, PO Box 1014, Danville, VA 24543. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by September 4, 2026 and received by September 9, 2026 to be eligible. Limit one (1) mail-in entry per person. No purchase or payment required. Mail-in entries have the same odds of winning as entries received through Method 1.

Entries generated by script, macro, bot, or other automated means are void. Incomplete entries are void. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

5. PRIZE

One (1) Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize consisting of a three (3) day, two (2) night stay at a vacation property managed by Southern Shore Villas in Oak Island, North Carolina. Approximate retail value ("ARV"): $400. Stay must be completed by December 31, 2027. Dates are subject to availability and blackout dates may apply. Prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable. Winner is responsible for all costs not expressly described herein, including but not limited to transportation to and from the property.

6. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. A public drawing will take place on or about September 11, 2026 8 PM ET at River Front Park Danville, VA, using a random number generator application. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

The potential winner will be notified by email using the address provided at entry. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days of the first notification attempt, or if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner forfeits the prize and an alternate winner may be selected.

7. CONDITIONS OF WINNING

The potential winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within ten (10) days of notification. Failure to return completed documents within the required timeframe may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

Acceptance of prize constitutes winner's permission for Sponsor to use winner's name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. By participating, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, its officers, directors, volunteers, agents, and representatives from any and all liability arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

8. TAXES

Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on the prize. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099 to the winner if required by law.

9. GENERAL CONDITIONS

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize at random from among eligible entries received prior to such action.

Sponsor is not responsible for: (a) lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries; (b) any error, omission, interruption, or technical malfunction; or (c) any injury or damage to persons or property arising from participation in the Sweepstakes.

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.

10. DISPUTES

This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflicts of law principles. All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pittsylvania County, Virginia.
